What is Yoga?
Yoga styles we practice
During a K'in retreat, your morning practice will be Hatha Vinyasa style and your evening practice will be Yin yoga.
Hatha Vinyasa is one of the original systems of yoga that includes asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing excercises). Vinyasa means 'flow' and represents fluid movements. Hatha Vinyasa utilizes breath to create fluid movements through various yoga postures.
Yin yoga encompasses long-held, static postures meant to stretch the connective tissue around joints. The goal of Yin is to achieve a deep state of mental and physical relaxation.
